What We Do

Basix Environmental Solutions offers a range of environmental planning and management services to assist clients with approvals and environmental management of their projects. We generally service mining, infrastructure, and land development projects in greater Sydney, the Illawarra, and New South Wales.

We provide a expertise and support in:

We have extensive experience in leading impact assessments and managing development approvals from small to large scale infrastructure, mining, and land development projects.

Our Principle is a Certified Environmental Practitioner - Impact Assessment Specialist (CEnvP) (IA) with Registered Environmental Assessment Practitioner (REAP) status from the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ). Such status is required to review and sign off on State Significant Development (SSD) and State Significant Infrastructure (SSI) applications (a requirement of the NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure).

We enjoy being able to assist clients achieve a win-win outcome by identifying environmental and planning constraints early in a project so we can avoid or mitigate environmental impacts and streamline approvals processes.

What We Do Not Provide

We do not provide BASIX assessments or home thermal performance assessments to prepare BASIX certificates to comply with NSW State Government sustainability requirements for residential building development applications.
